Sansthagat Bikas "Sanjal" is a networking NGO comprising of 18 NGOs and CBNOs from 11 districts, and works in the areas of peace building, NGO governance and organizational capacity building.  Sansthagat Bikas Sanjal would like to announce a vacancy for the following positions for the execution of NGO Solidarity Project.

 

A. Position: Sanjal Coordinator- 1

Duty Station: Kathmandu with 50% field visits to remote project areas

Qualification and work experiences:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Management with 10 year experiences or Master Degree with three year experiences in NGO management, project planning and implementation
  • Skill, knowledge and experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and co-ordination
  • Training on Project Planning and Monitoring and Advocacy skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Planning, follow up and monitoring of NGO solidarity projects activities in 11 hilly and remote districts of Nepal
  2. Prepare periodic reports and submit to funding partners
  3. Design and facilitate NGO management and PME trainings as per project needs
  4. Follow up and monitor project activities in project areas
  5. Prepare project proposals in English for national and international donors
  6. Coordinate with key stakeholders for project execution

 

B. Position: Research and Documentation Officer-1

Duty Station: Kathmandu with 50% field visits to remote project areas

Qualification and work experiences:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Humanities and Social work with 3 years experiences or Masters degree with one year experience of Proposal writing, Report writing and research report writing
  • Experience in Report and proposal editing, translation and feature writing
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing progress reports and success stories
  2. Update webpage of Sanjal and publish newsletters
  3. Prepare periodic progress reports of projects
  4. Translate Reports and other materials in English and Nepali
  5. Collect EOI and proposal calls and share with MOs
